Advocacy is an integral part of my world. Sex work – obviously – is something I’m an extremely vocal advocate for. I firmly believe in the destigmatization (which INCLUDES the unrealistic glamorization) and decriminalization of sex work, as well as the termination of any currently legal forms of discrimination against sex work, such as closing bank accounts, and denying access to housing and other forms of employment on the basis of someone being a sex worker.
I also stand for a future in which our environment is protected, our vulnerable are cared for, and the ultra-wealthy individuals and corporations are adequately taxed (without loopholes) and stripped of any power they hold over governing bodies. We have the resources to provide for every single person on this planet, without causing irreparable harm to it. Any system that stands in the way of that is a system worth destroying.

Hiking – and being in nature in general – is also an activity I deeply love. While my personal health struggles sometimes impede my ability to do this as much as I’d like, I always appreciate the opportunities I do have to get lost (literally or figuratively) in nature.

Writing is a major on-and-off hobby that I’m always trying to make space for in my world. From writing blogs for this website, to a TV show that came to me in a dream, I find great satisfaction in bringing to life the words that swim through my head.

Being an eco-conscious artist has been one of my greatest passions, for as long as I can remember. I’ve never been good at picking a favourite art medium (or favourite anything, for that matter!), so I tend to flit back and forth between the ever-growing multitude of materials I work with. From upcycling textiles to glass, working with ethically and sustainably sourced animal bones or bits and bobs found on the beach, creating art, decor, and jewelry is one of my greatest happy places.
